3.1 During 2003 the Partnership Board reviewed its composition prior to the community representatives’ election in April 2003. The Community Representatives Group proposed the Partnership Board to have a total of 25 places and this was formally approved during the March 2003 Board meeting. 3.2 Partnership Board membership of: 14 Community Representatives are to remain holding the majority of places, to include 4 co-options to reflect community diversity (reduced from seventeen and five respectively - the Youth Network has been firmly established, enabling young people’s views to be gathered directly and fed back into the Board) 2 Elected representatives 1 County Councillor and 1 Borough Councillor (reduced from three places to two as the MP receives regular updates) 1 Business Representative from the 3C’s Industrial Estates Committee to represent majority businesses in area (Business Broker has close links with the Partnership through direct contact with Support Team and Community Representatives Group) 1 Hastings Voluntary Action 7 Strategic Members – (membership re-focussed to encourage the services who deliver most to meet regularly to discuss cross-cutting issues that affect the area) - ESCC – Social Services – Education/Youth Service

Partnership Board Associated Structures 3.3 All groups, forums and networks formally feed back into the Partnership Board through formal reports, consultation results and officer and/or nominated representative views. Written reports and summaries of consultation processes and subgroup meetings are regularly distributed with Partnership papers.
